Sarah Silverman...Meh
The opening act, Tesla, was disappointing. It was the first show of his tour and it showed. His material was rough and uneven. It was as though he hadn't worked through how the jokes were to flow. He would do a meta thing where he would bring up a pin and then say "put a subject in that" and never return to the subject. It was annoying and frustrating. Todd Barry was great but it just wasn't his crowd. It also didn't help that he wasn't feeling well, which is not his fault, but it definitely affected his performance. Overall, I wish that I had seen a show later in the run so that, hopefully, he would have had time to work through the issues. Overall, a waste of an evening.
